Staff Function

Trane organized staff function for recreation on 16 Nov 2016 at W Hotel. Around 40 staff m enjoyed the games and food with magnificent sea view. It was a wonderful event.

Trane Training Class

Trane Training Class 2016 was successfully held in early November, under the theme of “High Performance Building System in Smart City”. To accommodate the overwhelming response to Trane Training Class, the venue was moved from the Trane office to the Joint Professional Centre at Central. A full house of over 190 participants attended the training -- the largest scale Trane Training Class ever held.

JSA McKenzie Cup Basketball Tournament 2016

In April 2016, the Trane Hong Kong basketball team faced stiff competition against a total of 16 contenders to advance to the JSA McKenzie Cup Basketball Tournament Semi-final for the first time since joining the league. Our team finished in third/fourth place after losing to the Gammon Heat team, the first runner-up and defending champion. Colleagues who participated in this event showed great sportsmanship during the game. They deserved our cheers and congratulations on their great efforts.

TYS Scheme “A” Engineer Walk

The TYS Scheme “A” Engineer Walk took place on 15 April 2016. More than 40 people joined the walk, including Mr. K. K. Leung, Director & General Manager of TYS, representatives from Ingersoll Rand, managements of TYS and HKIE Scheme “A” Trainees. They took the Hong Kong Rail Section 4 and enjoyed the stunning scenery even though there was light rain.
After the hike, a dinner was held at the Hong Kong Football Club. Mr. Wilson Kwong, Chief Executive of Jardine Engineering Corporation (JEC) also joined the dinner. All participants enjoyed great food and played games together.
